Meet Topher
Founding Partner
Topher is a digital and advertising expert with nearly 15 years of experience building campaigns and programs in the service of progressive politics.
Before co-founding AfG, Topher ran the consulting firm, Flatirons Strategies, which managed advertising programs across the U.S. He was also previously the Head of Advertising at the Washington, D.C.-based Fireside Campaigns and served in staff positions with Denver Mayor Michael Hancock and U.S. Senator John Hickenlooper.
In service to the progressive movement, Topher also holds several board positions. He is currently the Board Chair of Cobalt Advocates, Colorado’s leading abortion advocacy group and abortion fund. He is also the Vice President of the Big Sky Film Institute, and serves on his local planning commission.
He lives in Colorado with his husband, Austin and their two cats.
Meet Ryan
Founding Partner
Ryan is a communicator and storyteller with 20 years of experience in shaping public opinion through campaigns and issue advocacy. He believes in the power of authentic, local storytelling to transform personal and political narratives into messages that inspire action.
Ryan previously founded Heart & Mind Media, a production company that has helped elect Governors, Senators, and Representatives; made ads for Independent Expenditure committees to hold public servants accountable for their record; and helped pass issue and bond campaigns for a host of interests.
Ryan is a proud husband and dad to one human and one adorable puppy.
